Located in the Epping Forest district of Essex this recently completed new build care home has been designed with full sprinkler protection to all 72 bedrooms, common areas and communal rooms.

The sprinkler design allows for the shared use of the residential water tank with a dedicated booster pump for sprinkler use and separate riser to serve the 4 sprinklered floors. The design incorporates a valve per floor per arrangement in a central position to the ‘T’ shape layout of the building. 

The work took several visits to site to install 1^st and 2^nd fix of the systems working around other contractors at various stages of the project.  Sprinkler installation started in Dec 18 and by April 19 we had all areas 2^nd fixed and pressure tested. Final test, cover plates to the heads and commission of the sprinkler booster set was phased to suit the contractors programme and room by room decoration before the cover plates were installed.
