Project Outcome
Rochester Riverside is a £419 million joint venture development delivered in partnership with Medway Council and Homes England. The wider regeneration programme will transform the area over an eight-year period, delivering approximately 1,400 high-quality new homes, including 25% affordable housing, alongside a new primary school, leisure facilities and other community amenities. Phase 7 marks the beginning of Sprinklers Direct’s involvement in the wider development programme, with responsibility for the design, installation, testing and commissioning of residential sprinkler systems across multiple buildings.
As part of Phase 7, Sprinklers Direct delivered full sprinkler protection throughout Block 7A, covering all six floors of the development. The installation comprises over 200 sprinkler heads and six electronically monitored zone valves, providing protection to 34 residential units, communal corridors and associated ancillary areas.
