Project Outcome
Formerly a 19th-century Post Office, the building has now been transformed into 20 modern residential flats.
Given its height of over 11 meters and five storeys -from basement to 3rd floor- the flats are fully protected with a Category 2 sprinkler system. Throughout the project, everyone prioritized preserving the building’s historic features, including the war memorial, original ceilings, and floor finishes.
Our team designed a dedicated sprinkler pump and tank system with a reduced capacity tank to optimize space and costs, complemented by mains infill to ensure reliable supply duration. Close collaboration with our client enabled us to deliver outstanding results—enhancing fire safety while maintaining the building’s historic character
