Project Outcome
The Broadwater Farm Regeneration – Moselle Project is a major redevelopment of the former Moselle School site on Adams Road, N17, forming part of the wider £250 million regeneration of Broadwater Farm. The development delivers 40 high-quality new homes across multiple residential blocks, alongside a commercial unit and a new convenience store at the junction of Adams Road and Moira Close, providing essential amenities for residents and the wider community.
Developed in collaboration with local residents and stakeholders, the project places a strong emphasis on sustainability, accessibility and high-quality design, creating a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for the community.
Sprinklers Direct has contributed to the development by installing a bespoke residential sprinkler system designed to provide fire protection throughout the residential accommodation. The installation comprises over 400 sprinkler heads and 15 valves, supplied by a combined sprinkler and domestic pump and tank arrangement. The system also incorporates a dedicated sprinkler riser and pressure differential valve (PDV), forming an integral part of the building’s fire protection provision.
Residential sprinkler systems are particularly important in multi-occupancy developments, where a fire can pose a significant risk to residents and neighbouring homes. By activating in response to heat from a developing fire, sprinklers can help control fire growth, limit fire spread and reduce the risk to life, providing residents with additional protection and valuable time to evacuate. The installation at Moselle demonstrates Sprinklers Direct’s commitment to delivering reliable, purpose-designed fire protection systems that support the safety of residents and the successful delivery of high-quality new housing.
