The system utilized ‘low flow’ sprinkler heads to help reduce the hydraulic demand on the mains. Designed to utilize a 32mm incoming mains feed, the system consisted of using 25mm pipework throughout to reduce the amount of pipe off cuts and keep wastage at a minimum, thus ensuring our material costs are kept to a minimum for our client. This is a great strategy to use on smaller properties that are feeding a smaller number of heads.

The Barn conversion is a Bungalow with solid oak beams spanning the vaulted ceiling over the living space. Our engineers navigated around the beams running the pipework underneath and along the pitch, ensuring full sprinkler coverage to the floor plan was achieved.
